DUSLA field trip May 23rd at 10:00 AM

DUSLA will be exploring some of Philadelphia's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender resources on May 23rd. Come join us on a field trip to the AIDS Library and the Library and Archives of the William Way LGBT Community Center. The AIDS Library is run by Philadelphia Fight a comprehensive AIDS service organization. The library offers access to health and support services, disseminates information about HIV treatment, nutrition, and history and connects people to regional and national AIDS resources. The William Way Community Center Library has over 10,000 books of LGBT-related fiction and non-fiction, one of the largest collections in the country. The William Way Center Archives is Philadelphia 's most extensive collection of rare books, periodicals, video and audio tapes, periodicals, personal correspondence, and other ephemera documenting the rich history of the LGBT community. RSVP to Jessie at jdummer@gmail.com. We will meet at 10:00 AM at the AIDS Library at 1233 Locust St., 2nd Floor.
